All rocks, minerals, fossils, and jewelry sold by Geoscape Rock Shop are 100% authentic. The only items we ever carry that are synthetic are goldstone and opalite. Some rocks, minerals, and fossils have been processed to enhance the appearance or reinforce the piece to prevent breakage, however none are purely “fake” (ex. aura quartz, mosasaur tooth in prepared matrix). Any details regarding modifications to the stones will be provided in the listing description.

We do not offer warranties on our products. Rocks, minerals, and fossils may break or degrade depending on what conditions they are stored in, such as direct sunlight, outdoors, exposure to water, etc. We are happy to offer recommendations of how to care for each piece but cannot guarantee that it will last in perfect condition forever.

If an item breaks during shipping, please contact us.

We try our best to stock our online store with a wide variety of inventory like we have at our rock shop, but it’s hard to list all of it! If you are looking for something in particular that you don’t see on our online store, or you would like a bulk quantity of something, please contact us so we can help you find what you’re looking for.

We have a selection of rocks, minerals, and fossils available for wholesale. You will need an EIN to purchase wholesale. There is a $50 minimum purchase. Please contact us to purchase wholesale online.

We know a lot of our customers are interested in the metaphysical healing properties of rocks. Some basic metaphysical information is provided in the listing descriptions. We encourage our customers to use their personal intention to enhance the properties of each stone.

However, we cannot offer warranties or guarantees based on the healing properties of the stones.

The statements on this site regarding the healing properties of the stones have not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

We also cannot provide medical advice based on the properties of the stones. Crystals should not be a replacement for professional medical services and treatment.

Upon purchase or use of our products, you agree to fully release, indemnify, and hold harmless, Geoscape Rock Shop LLC, its principals, owners, personal representatives, consultants, employees and assigns from any claim or liability whatsoever and for any damage or injury, personal, financial, emotional, psychological or otherwise, which you may incur arising at any time out of or in relation to your use of the products sold on this website. If any court of law rules that any part of the Disclaimer is invalid, the Disclaimer stands as if those parts were struck out.


If you’d like to pick up your order at our retail location in Paw Paw, Michigan to save on shipping costs, choose “Local Pickup” during checkout. This is available to all customers with a Michigan or Indiana address.

If you’re from another state and will be able to pick up your order at our store, please contact us.

We wait at least 24 hours from the time an item is ordered to the time we ship to ensure that you can double check your order information (primarily your shipping address) and make sure you don’t want to change or cancel your order. Please contact us immediately with any issues so we can resolve them before your order is shipped!

Please contact us immediately for cancellations. You will receive a full refund. If you wish to cancel your order once it has already shipped, you will be liable for shipping charges to return the items back to us in good condition.

If you place an order and realize that you want to purchase more, we might be able to combine the items into one shipment if you contact us in time. In this case we can refund you on shipping overages. Please note that this is not a guarantee, so if you make more than one order you may be liable for shipping costs for both orders. Contact us within 24 hours of your initial order so we can assist you.

Most of our inventory is one of a kind, so if an item sells out there may never be one just like it posted again. However, we generally have plenty of pieces of similar size and quantity of any given product, so please contact us with the details of the item you’re looking for so we can help you find a piece you love just as much!


We use USPS for shipping our orders. You can choose first-class, priority mail, or priority mail express upon checkout. 

At this time we do not ship internationally, but contact us for special orders.

Once we receive your order, we will get your package in the mail within 2-5 business days. Time for delivery depends on which shipping option you chose. Please note that “delivery time” on your tracking number is from when we get your item in the mail, not from the day in which you place your order. Processing times may be longer during the holiday season.

Weather or issues with USPS are out of our control and may delay shipping times.

Rocks are often quite heavy, making shipping more complicated. Large orders or orders including particularly heavy items will need to be special ordered to ensure we can find you the best shipping option. Oversized items will be noted on the listing so you know to contact us.

Please be sure to use an accurate address to a location your order can be safely delivered.

Once your package has been delivered, any theft is out of our control. If your order is lost or stolen before delivery, we can help you make a claim with USPS. USPS Priority Mail includes $100 of insurance.

If you provide us the wrong address, we cannot offer a refund on the order unless the package is returned to us. Additionally, we will require that you pay for shipping to have your package re-shipped to your correct address. Please double check your shipping address or notify us immediately if you notice you entered the wrong information.

You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

Our credit card processing is run through Square on their servers to ensure that your credit card information is secure.
